Elizabeth W. Acly, PE

Principal, Structural Engineer

Fresh out of graduate school, Beth’s first place of employment was at a structural engineering consulting firm just outside Cambridge, England. She became fascinated with the historic buildings all around her, and began to steer her career toward historic building restoration, and adaptive re-use and renovation of existing buildings. Now, after almost 20 years in the business, Beth has significant experience in the analysis and design of structures, both new and existing. She is proficient in using visual, numeric and computer analysis techniques and modeling analyses.

Beth has an adventurous spirit grounded by a strong work ethic. Her passion for history, health, cooking and animals is enhanced by a love for movement (CrossFit, skiing, biking and horseback riding) with her husband and kids. Cirrus’ Core Values morphed from her own thoughtful and collaborative approach, commitment to community, fascination with history and materials, and drive to be a lifelong learner.
